Members of the First Battalion the Royal Regiment of Scotland (1 SCOTS) took their mentoring of the Afghan National Army (ANA) into the green zone of Afghanistan on operations. The unit, which also Advisory Teams to the Afghan security forces, was training and carrying out operations alongside their Afghan colleagues near Nad-e-Ali.
