Not one game, but three - yes,
three in one, Command Magazine's
Mason-Dixon: The Second American Civil War gave you an American Civil War for 1917, 1940, and 1995. (Oh yeah, and that magazine also had another game in it called "
Balkan Hell", so you
really got your money's worth.) Were they remotely realistic? Who cares!
Can't find a CSW forum on it... Thought it would be in the "multi-era" folder, but I guess not.
Did you ever play this one? What did you think?

Ooooh, I fondled this one a lot, but never had the time or space to play it out. There were some interesting ideas in the rules; I think XTR used this game to test out a few new concepts.
ReplyDeleteBalkan Hell I got as far as marking in the hexsides that were supposed to be greener than the rest of the green map, and then something else came up as it always does....
