I played this one until the counters got worn, Back In The Day. A lot of very good ideas and no small amount of tension as each side hangs on by just that little bit!
I also have Light Division (same area, by a different designer) and want to give it a try. I believe it is a lightened-up version of a game Austin Bay and maybe JF Dunnigan did for the Army; can anyone corroborate?
I must say that every Friday I anticipate the Random Wargame posts.
ReplyDeleteI have S&T's Central Command, also unpunched. It is on my "still to try" list along with "Light Division"
Reminds me of a little of Gulf Strike, from Victory Games/Avalon Hill.

ReplyDeleteCrap. I guess I better keep 'em coming, huh? ;)
Sounds like a vote of confidence to me!

ReplyDeleteYes, there's plenty of material and even when showcasing your own designs on your birthday. I'd like to see an "Orange Crush" RWF.
