Sound Off! CRTs


Do you prefer a wargame combat results table with...

-- step-based damage that reduces unit strengths?

-- forced retreats or eliminations, with units either present or dead?

  1. Step-based, or some other kind of incremental damage, makes more sense. But even when the component count will allow it, there will be gamers lined up to complain that they don't like flipping or substituting counters, or rotating Pollard markers, and so forth.
    The only way around that is roster sheets, which even I hate.
