Cougar armoured vehicles from the Kelowna and Vernon based British Columbia Dragoons drive through the early morning light and dust. The Cougars are in the US Army training area of Yakama, Washington as part of Exercise Cougar Salvo, where more than 350 Reservists from 39th Canadian Brigade Group in British Columbia are on exercise. Over 15,000 reservist soldiers augment the army’s regular force.
