Royal Navy Not Happy About Coming Cuts

The Telegraph's article includes some priceless quotes from disgruntled British sailors.

One officer wrote that the Navy was about to become “the most powerful dug-out canoe equipped force the world has ever known”.

In angry reaction to the Army’s apparent victory in the cuts one officer wrote: “It would appear that logic, reason and strategic argument have been sacrificed to the bonfire of a mendacious and pernicious lobbying campaign from the Army in a desperate bid to justify their failure in Afghanistan.”

Another asked if the National Security Council had “looked at a map of the world before they came to their decisions? They might have noticed a blue thing covering 70 percent of the earth’s surface: it’s called the ocean.”
