UK In Action: Chinook Dustoff
A Royal Air Force Chinook helicopter throws up a ring of sand and dust as it comes in to land in the North African desert in preparation for deployment to Afghanistan. Working alongside Army Air Corps Lynx helicopters and an array of ground support personnel, the Chinook pilots and aircrew practiced dust landings and underslung load carrying among other vital tasks in an exercise called Jebel Sahara.
