Resolution to the coup in Guinea?

I guess if the guys with the guns are on board, everyone else will fall in line.

Guinea’s security minister said Saturday that the military would fully support the junta’s No. 2 leader as he took over the government, potentially ending a serious squabble within the military establishment after the country’s wounded military leader had agreed to stay in temporary exile in Burkina Faso.

The security minister, Cmdr. Claude Pivi, told state television Saturday that he would make peace with the junta’s vice president, Gen. Sékouba Konaté, when the vice president returned to steer Guinea toward civilian rule. He said the army would remain peaceful during the transition.
