Back on 2 October , we noted that SecDef Robert Gates was predicting no sharp cuts in defense budgets.
That's an understatement....
The U.S. military wants a $57 billion increase in FY10, which is just north of 13% more than FY09 ($514.3 billion).
Looks like our little poll was a weeeee bit off.
Maybe they're trying to squeeze 2-3 more JSFs into the budget?
