Wargaming Wednesday

Initially I was thinking that it might be interesting to look for history outside of the attack on Pearl Harbor. It’s not that I intended any disrespect, but rather that it seemed like it was so obvious that readers might find it interesting to hear about other events that took place this week in history. However, in reading through the events of the last few days the cumulative total of events in World War II seems too great to pass up. Not only did we see Pearl Harbor attacked this week, but it is also the anniversary of some major Japanese aggression: the attacks on Clark and Iba airfields in Luzon. The attack of Guam, Siam, Malaya, Hong Kong, and the Marshall Islands also took place in 1941. It turns out the Japanese were very busy. As a result I have decided that it is inevitable that we pull out the strategy games covering the PTO. So without further ado…
