Random Friday Wargaming: Operation Jihad

An Iranian hostage rescue fantasy, Operation Jihad had the US hiring mercenaries to bring the hostages home.

OPERATION: JIHAD, dated 1980 by Stardragon. A hypothetical mercenary raid on Tehran to either rescue hostages or capture the Ayatollah Khomeini. Bagged, complete and unpunched, with rules, 4 small counter sheets, 4 color map.




Anyone out there ever even seen this one?

Never seen an actual copy. I do have Steve Jackson's Raid on Iran game, which is pretty much the same thing. Not much to get excited about besides its value as contemporary ephemera (like toilet paper with Khomeini's face and "The Ayatollah is a Assa-hola" T-shirts).
