Grenade smoke engulfs a team of Guardsmen as they wait for the team in front to clear a building situated in a compound near Checkpoint Yellow 7, Helmand, Afghanistan. During Operation Panchai Palang 2 (Panthers Claw), the men of 2 Company 1 Battalion Welsh Guards (2 Coy 1WG), occupied a compound overlooking Checkpoint Yellow 7, a volatile bridge crossing which had been denied to the insurgents by the introduction of obstacles and men.
