Another tuckfard busted

Don't pretend to be something you're not. It never works out.

Federal prosecutors say a Big Bear Lakes man has agreed to plead guilty to a felony charge of claiming to be a general in the Army Reserves and using the United States Joint Chiefs of Staff seal on his business card.
The U.S. attorney's office says 64-year-old Carmine Cannarella was charged Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Riverside. He faces up to five years in federal prison.
Prosecutors say Cannarella used his business card to claim that he was a general and a licensed clinical psychologist, and also had a photo of himself in a military uniform.
He briefly served in the military in the 1960s as a private, but had claimed to be a military officer for many years.
He's scheduled to be arraigned on June 7.
