TSA partially removes heads from asses, drops subpoenas against bloggers

The TSA has temporarily regained a modicum of sanity and dropped the subpoenas against the bloggers who posted publicly-available information about the changes in security proceedings following the underwear-bomber's attempt to blow up a plane over Detroit.

The Transportation Security Administration on Thursday dropped the subpoenas it had issued to two Internet writers in its effort to learn who leaked an airline security directive.

The agency said the investigation was “nearing a successful conclusion, and the subpoenas are no longer in effect.”

One wonders if the "successful conclusion" somehow involved getting their asshattery back out of the public limelight.
