Lessons Learned from the Koran non-burning

Interestingly enough, not one of the lessons on CNN's retrospective of last week's media feeding frenzy came to this conclusion:

Given any pretext, no matter how slight, imagined, threatened, invented, or actually carried out, large swaths of an uneducated mass of Muslims across 17 time zones will still burn American flags, chant "Death to America", and assume that Israel has something to do with it with the bare minimum of encouragement.



Oh, and then wonder why we aren't carpet-bombing them with aid packages when fire, flood, and earthquake strike their country.
